PIO FC – History and Heritage

PIO FC is a prominent team in the Kings League, a seven-a-side football competition established in 2022 by former footballer Gerard Piqué. The league, known for its innovative rules and engaging format, has attracted significant attention from fans worldwide.

In the 2024/25 season, PIO FC participated in Split 5 of the Kings League, finishing 12th with a record of 1 win, 2 penalty shootout victories, and 8 losses. In the 2023/24 season, PIO FC achieved remarkable success in the Queens League, the women’s counterpart to the Kings League. They secured the championship by defeating Kunitas FC 6–5 in a thrilling final. This victory highlighted the team’s exceptional talent and determination, cementing their status as a formidable force in women’s football.
